Your employees are asking for headsets and you are wondering if it really makes sense to make that investment. It does! Let us explain.
We are asking our staffs to work harder then ever. They spend many hours a day on the phone, frequently typing (or keyboarding) at the same time. When they accomplish that by sticking the phone under their chins and holding on with their shoulder…well, ouch! Pretty soon talking & multitasking is equated with pain. Then off to the doctor or chiropractor they go.
Look at it this way. Will avoiding the cost of 1 sick day pay for a headset? Did you know that employees with headsets are 23.5% more productive then employees without headsets?
Here are a few of our favorite headset models:
Plantronics CS55 Wireless Headset
Platronics HW251N with M22 Amplifier
Jabra GN Netcom GN2119ST with Smart Cord

I think the Avaya IP Office is a rock star. What powerful tools built into a small business system! It’s affordable. It’s stable. It’s a fabulous business tool. You can show actual ROI on your investment.
Let’s look at one example. Avaya IP Office supports SIP Trunks. SIP Trunks from a good provider on a good circuit are at least as reliable as a T1 or PRI circuit. In this scenario, we are using Broadvox SIP Trunks. The customer replaced an Integrated T1 that offered 8 voice lines with 8 unlimited calling SIP Trunks. The customer saved $600 per month. That includes the costs of Internet connectivity. The ROI is very easy to measure. Next time, we’ll get talk about ROI on employee functionality.
